Produced from the vineyard above Lamone at 350 meters in altitude. The steep, sandy, stony soil and 30-year-old vines yield grapes of superior quality. Traditional Bordeaux-style vinification with maceration lasting over 20 days in oak vats, followed by nearly two years of ageing in French Bordeaux barriques. Deep ruby red in color, with complex aromas of ripe black fruit and great structure on the palate.
