In the heart of Lugano, with a breathtaking view of Lake Ceresio, Moncucchetto is a winery steeped in history with a restaurant offering a magical atmosphere. The winery was founded in 1970 when Niccolò and Lisetta began producing their first bottles of Merlot. The big change came in 2009, when Mario Botta put his signature on the design of a new winery.

Here, fine wines are produced with masterful skill by winemaker Cristina Monico from 8 hectares of vineyards in Moncucchetto, Agra, Bioggio, Boscherina, Morchino and Castagnola, where several red and white varieties are grown. The wines are an expression of the territory from which they originate and the passion of the people who work on the estate.
